DESCRIPTION:Designed for both new floodplain administrators as well as a re
 fresher course for Certified Floodplain Managers (CFMs).  The session will
  cover floodplain management concepts\, basic FEMA mapping\, map changes\,
  State of Illinois floodway regulations\, state and local floodplain permi
 t requirements\, flood insurance\, CRS\, and mitigation. Course instructor
 s will be floodplain management and permitting staff from IDNR/OWR\, mappi
 ng staff from the ISWS\, and NFIP specialists from FEMA.\nCourse instructo
 rs will stay after the workshop to provide individual assistance to those 
 taking the CFM Exam on Tuesday evening.\n7 PE PDHs and 6.5 CFM CECs will b
